An animal adult, whether human or non-human, is one who has grown to the fullest extent. The term adult is applied to humans to mean social and legal concepts. Legal adults and not "minors" or "non-adults can be defined as someone older than the average age and therefore considered independent, responsible as well as independent. When we reach early adulthood the body is at the fullest physical maturation. Yet, our height and our weight can rise. During young adulthood we reach the highest level of physical ability.
